Access
The Kumano River is part of the Kumano Kodo and is the only waterway on the planet that is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Pilgrimage route.
The Kitayama River is in the Yoshino Kumano national park, that is also important water way, people took a log raft down the river since long time ago.
Try kayaking these clear waters is a fantastic way to get a unique perspective of Kumano’s spiritual landscape.

What to bring
clothes that can get wet (swimsuit,etc), footwear that can get wet (sports sandals,etc -footware will get wet so please bring change of footwear), hat, water bottle, sunscreen, towel and change of clothes for end of the tour, etc.
