Kumano Kodo Hiking
Kumano Experience offers a variety of walking tours on the ancient Kumano Kodo pilgrimage routes.
These ancient pilgrimage routes have over 1000 years of continuous use and offer a fantastic way to get out into the traditional countryside of Japan amidst an ever-present spiritual atmosphere.
Routes focus on the main Nakahechi route as well as portions of the Kohechi route. (Hosshinmon-oji to Kumano Hongu Taisha, Kumano Hongu Taisha to Kumano Nachi Taisha, Kumano Hongu Taisha to Totsukawa)
Kumano Experience tour group sizes are small for a relaxing, quality trip.
For the one day tour we offer Hosshinmon-oji to Kumano Hongu Taisha,include"Zazen".
● Hosshinmon-oji to Kumano Hongu Taisha(We run it ordinary)
We Try "Zazen" in Fukujyuin Temple at Fushiogami
We can also arrange 2 different course for 1day trip
We also offer two other course options to experience the culture and nature of Kumano.
● Kogumotori-goe section
● Hatenashi-toge pass (Kohechi route)
